For 22 years, the event raised $1,000,000 for United Way BC, with the last event in 2022 pulling in more than $50k! Thank you to everyone for making this possible—Maxine DeHart, the Ramada Hotel, and the hundreds of local businesses and volunteer supporters of the event—truly local love in action!

All dollars raised through the Drive-Thru will go to United Way British Columbia – Southern Interior to be invested locally, improving lives right here in our community.

The demand for local support services has never been greater.

Our communities are facing tough times, and the rising cost of living is hitting families hard.

Your gifts over the past year helped us provide safe spaces for your neighbours to find support, resources, and connection. However, rising costs mean there is more work to do in 2024.

  • Your gifts over the past year helped us provide safe spaces for your neighbours to find support, resources, and connection. However, rising costs mean there is more work to do in 2024.
  • Our local children deserve the opportunity to thrive through after-school and summer programs, such as School’s Out, which is an after-school program for children 6-12 years old that provide mental and physical wellness, healthy and nutritious food, and developmental support throughout the school year. • Isolated seniors in our communities need companionship and care, which we help provide through programs such as Healthy Aging and Better at Home, which reduce seniors’ isolation and enhance their quality of life. Learn more.
  • People need assistance and connection to community resources to help solve life’s challenges. So we are HERE to provide them with Helpline Services, like 211, that provides information on services in your community for your situation, such as food banks, income assistance programs, legal resources, mental health and low-cost counselling, shelter information, or other help. It’s free, confidential, and available 24/7 in over 240 languages. Learn more.
  • Groceries are becoming increasingly expensive. That’s why Food Security is such a strong pillar of United Way BC’s work. They provide organizations with Food Security Grants, support regional community Food Hubs throughout BC, and developed the Food Link by United Way BC, an innovative app that connects the food needs of nonprofit partners and their clients to local, regional and small-scale food organizations and suppliers while mobilizing volunteers to efficiently and cost-effectively transport food between locations. Although these needs are growing, we’re stepping in and tackling them. We need your help to carry out this work.
