We’re lucky to be living in a community where many that are willing and able step up and show their local love. Through this virtual kickoff event, we’re hopeful that it will spur everyone to continue taking action by supporting their local community throughout the season through our campaign and engagement activities.
COVID-19 has highlighted the effects of social isolation and demonstrated the critical need to strengthen vital connections in our communities. At United Way British Columbia, we’ve been supporting people throughout the pandemic. Still, because of increased pressure on services, we need more help than ever – and we can’t do it alone.
