To date, United Way British Columbia has raised $4,035,000 to support the needs of communities most affected by the 2021 BC Floods.

While the immediate emergency response is over, enduring recovery initiatives like the United Way British Columbia’s long-term Regional Community Food Hubs and Hi Neighbour programs continue to be supported.

Read our 2022 Impact Report to find out more about how the United for BC Flood Response Fund supports BC communities.

With the increasing climate crisis, we are also preparing to respond to future floods that may occur.

A variety of programs and essential supports are critical as BC residents respond and recover physically and emotionally from the devastation of floods throughout our province. The United for BC Flood Response Fund plays an important role in helping affected communities in the aftermath of these floods. Funds go towards addressing important needs like housing, food assistance, trauma, and mental health support.
